Hilton Lodge is a Georgian House set in secluded grounds near the centre of Haddington. It was first mentioned in Haddington records circa 1764 when William Richardson was granted a Charter by Haddington Council. It has been listed as being of architectural and historical interest.
Hilton Lodge is owned and managed by the Stewart family and are known as The Stewart Partnership. The family business is managed by sisters Mrs Caeris Gilliland and Mrs Naoimh Stirling who are both experienced Registered Nurses. Mrs Stirling is the Matron of the Nursing Home with more than 30 years specialist experience in Care of the Elderly. Her sister Mrs Gilliland is responsible for the administration of Hilton Lodge and the management of Hilton Nursing & Homecare Agency.

The aim of Hilton Lodge is to provide a safe, healthy, comfortable home environment in which to enhance the quality of life of our Residents. Individuality, independence and dignity are of paramount importance and our main concern is to provide the highest possible quality of care.
In 1995 we achieved ISO accreditation and certification for the standard of nursing care provided. This ensures that we maintain a quality system in all areas to ensure the highest standards of care.
